A new release from one of the many groups sitting slightly under the radar, but which i take notice of.
The new song is about a standard cheating guy on the benefits of older ladies, with some twists and a big time cameo.
More thoughts after the break:
- The new song is not as strong as the debut "Supa Luv", but still enjoyable, as typical electro-tinged pop.
- No issues with the singing, sounds okay to me. Then again, electro pop is not the best place to judge singing ability, so no comments.
- So the lead aimed to cover up his love mistakes with buying the same perfume for his gf, naughty naughty (but nice by player standards)
- Anyway, was he planning to get caught, what with hanging around in the same place with the two ladies?
- Great to have a boss with friends in high places. Teen Top always boasts some of the biggest cameos, like Shinhwa's Eric (in Supa Luv), and now his ex-squeeze Park Si Yeon in this MV.
- The choreo is quite standard fare though, so no real insights or anything note-worthy there. Will wait for live perfs to further judge.
Verdict: YAY
Overall, decent song in a slow week. By all measures, it should be a song worthy of listening for the week. It is also worth noting though, that releases have been slow this week, given how most other groups have gone quiet in anticipation of the miss A "all kill". On maybe another week where releases were heavier, this could have been a "may"
